Samsung Bespoke Jet cordless vacuum review
Updated December 1, 2022
It's rare to see a cleaning appliance that fires on all cylinders, but the Samsung Bespoke Jet (available at Amazon) seriously wowed us. We’ll admit we were skeptical when it arrived in our labs, since Dyson is and has been the dominant player when it comes to cordless vacuums. However, after testing the Bespoke Jet, we can confidently say that a new standard has been set. The Bespoke Jet has superior reach, excellent cleaning ability, a powerful battery, and the ability to self-empty into a freestanding dock. Plus, it looks classy. Depending on your budget, its price tag may make you balk, but our decade's worth of experience testing cleaning products tells us it's well worth the money.

The Samsung Bespoke Jet is light and easy to use.
The Bespoke Jet cordless stick has a 210 air-watt motor, which means it has more cleaning power than the vast majority of cordless vacuum cleaners on the market. However, raw suction power means little if it doesn't harmonize with the brush head and filter. This Samsung vacuum does it well.
In our labs, the Bespoke Jet picked up 92.8% of the dirt we placed on our testing carpets in a single pass. To put this in perspective, this data puts the Bespoke Jet in a virtual tie with the V15 Detect—Dyson's top cordless vacuum.
The Bespoke Jet has a dual brush head: The front is for cleaning hardwood and the back is for carpets.
The main head on the Bespoke Jet has two brush rolls—one for bare floors and another for carpets. We’ve seen this feature before on Shark's DuoClean upright vacuums models, and it's no coincidence that our favorite Shark vacuum, the Apex AZ1002 has this feature. The Bespoke Jet has something similar, meaning it can deal with dirt on carpet or hardwood floors with equal zeal.
A motorized pet hair brush is also included. This tool has a rubberized roller for tackling long hair without clogging or getting tangled. This tool is ideal for cleaning upholstery, which hair has a tendency to cling to.
The Bespoke Jet also comes with a crevice tool and combination tools for dusting. Most cordless vacuums come with these tools, but few include a flex attachment that lets you bend the vacuum tip 90 degrees. Add in a telescopic wand gives you between 43 and 49 inches, and you can clean up high and down low without it being a back-bending experience.
The self-emptying dock places everything into a sealed bag.
Samsung first introduced the idea of a self-emptying cordless with its Clean Stations, but the Bespoke Jet takes this technology to a whole new level.
When you place the Jet cordless stick vacuum back into its dock, you can activate a secondary vacuum that suctions out the dust bin into a sealed bag. That means you can empty this cordless vacuum without touching or smelling anything unpleasant.
This also increases the amount of filtration. The Bespoke Jet vacuum itself already has five levels of filtration and has the British Allergy Foundation's seal of approval. The self-sealing bag keeps all that hard work from being undone. If you’ve ever emptied a cordless vacuum over a trashcan and witnessed a cloud of dust upon emptying, you know what we mean.
The dock also serves as a freestanding place to charge your Bespoke Jet, making it easier to access.
At over $700 retail, the Bespoke Jet is an investment. Based on its performance, we think it's worth the money, but we understand that not everyone wants to pay this much money for a floor cleaner.
The Bespoke Jet is expensive compared to most other cordless vacuum cleaners on the market. In the same price range as this Jet is Dyson's V15 Detect, and both of these are about $100 cheaper than the LG CordZero—another self-emptying cordless vacuum, but which also has a mop function.
These three are much more expensive than the majority of cordless vacuums on the market. A mid-tier cordless Hoover or Bissell averages around $200, so we don't blame you if the price of the Bespoke makes you bawk.
If you think the Bespoke Jet does cost too much, we’d suggest checking out the Tineco A10 Hero.
Unlike on the LG CordZero, the Bespoke stores its attachments on a separate caddy.
We don't love how Samsung designed its storage for the Bespoke Jet. On a comparable self-emptying cordless vacuum, the LG CordZero, most of the attachments can be stored in the charging dock. With the Bespoke Jet, there's a separate caddy for them, which means the whole Bespoke package takes up a fair bit of space. The caddy has rubber grips on the bottom to prevent it from sliding around. It also has a handle for when you need to move it, but that's less useful because the caddy needs to be plugged in to charge your spare battery.
In theory you could store all this in a closet. However, the self-emptying feature requires some clearance in order for the vacuum in the dock to get good airflow.
The majority of user reviews we can find is on Samsung.com. Out of 279 reviews, 87% of consumers recommend the Bespoke Jet. Users like that the vacuum is light and able to easily transition from carpet to hardwood floors.
However, some consumers dislike the fact that the Bespoke Jet does not come with the advertised spray mop attachment. Ours also did not come with the mop attachment. We get the confusion, since All-in-One is used by competitors, like LG, to mean vacuum and mop.
The Samsung Bespoke Jet is the best cordless vacuum we have tested to date, and the most powerful.
When you combine this power with a versatile set of included attachments and its ability to self-empty, you get a top-tier cleaning machine that does well on furniture, hardwood floors, and carpet.
It is expensive, especially since it doesn't come with the spray mop like the LG CordZero does, nor has it long-standing brand recognition like the Dyson. However, if you want a combination of cleaning power, self-emptying, and ease of use, the Samsung Bespoke Jet provides a ton of value.
